Happy July!
At the end of June, I lost my beloved pug companion, Drake. Drake had been with me since just after the publication
of my first book, ten wonderful years. I miss him so. The story of Drake is at my blog, Sherri and Charlotte. My corgi, Kylie, is still poking around the house looking for Drake. Poor Kylie. I wish I could help her understand.
I barely have a grasp on it myself. Sweet Drake, we'll always remember you. June was a month of setbacks,
but July is my time for moving forward. I'm writing a new book, with an exciting new co-author, and will offer more details
on that one later. At the end of the month, I will be in Orlando, FL- more specifically, in Walt Disney World- to conference
with the Romance Writer's of America at the WDW Swan-Dolphin Resort. Join me at the big booksigning at the Dolphin, from
5-7 pm on Wednesday, July 28! Would love to meet you there. Cheers, Sherri

Life, UnexpectedSome things come along and take you by surprise. I love happy surprises, like this fantastic review from
SFF Media. "If Grahame-Smith can be said to have kicked the whole thing (literary mash-ups) off, the
benchmark has been set with Jane Slayre, Sherri Browning Erwin’s affectionately irreverent parody of Charlotte Brontë’s
Jane Eyre." But it's not so great when life drops awful, unhappy surprises in your lap.
I've had a few of those lately, but I've learned that this is 2010 for me, a year of dramatic ups and downs. I prefer
to focus on the ups. Another up- I'm going to Disney World! The 2010 RWA Conference has been rebooked to Walt Disney World,
and I'm very excited to go and meet new readers and friends. I happen to know WDW pretty well, so I put some helpful Disney
tips on my Sherri and Charlotte blog for those headed down. Cheers! Sherri
